Al-Ghazālī is considered as imam (the most prominent) in epistemological critique and religious sects during his time, one of the prominent defending belief Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamā‘ah (Sunni Muslims, Sunnis, Sunnites). He also theorizing Ash‘arī theology (Asharites or Ashʿarism) Sufi thought. was able to purify philosophy from superstition, clarifies what bad sound, he mujaddid (reformer) time. distinguished by intelligence, quality writing, erudition, objectives research were manifestation al-Ghazālī’s approach Islamic faith opinion on philosophy, theology, mysticism, al-Bāṭiniyyah (The Sect Batiniyya; esotericism) through studying position book al-Iqtiṣād fī al-Iʿtiqād Moderation Belief), Tahāfut al-Falāsifah Incoherence Philosophers), al-Munqidh min al-Ḍalāl Rescuer Error) Fadā’ih Infamies Esotericists).
